Body MRI
MRI can provide valuable information on the health of internal organs such as the liver, pancreas, small bowel, uterus, prostate, etc. Often, imaging these organs requires the injection of a dye contrast. When receiving a body MRI, we take images before during and after the contrast is administered to see the pattern of uptake of dye by the internal organs. This approach is widely used to differentiate types of tumors, masses, and assessment of general organ function.
