Non-cardiac angiography
Blood vessels are the essential within the body to transport oxygen rich blood to the organs and carry oxygen depleted blood back to the lungs. MRI is used to visualize blood vessels within the body – from the tiniest vessels inside your brain, to the largest blood vessel in your chest called the aorta. Obstructions to blood flow due to abnormal dilation, constriction of the blood vessel, damage to the vessel wall, or improper connections can all be readily visualized using MR angiography (MRA).
